Florida to Chesapeake Bay Yacht Delivery Route
A northbound yacht delivery from Florida to Chesapeake Bay may begin in South Florida, Palm Beach, Fort Pierce, Cape Canaveral, St. Augustine or Jacksonville and continue through a combination of offshore Atlantic passages and the Intracoastal Waterway. Depending on the vessel and conditions, routing may include Fernandina Beach, St. Marys River, St. Simons, Brunswick, Savannah, Thunderbolt, Charleston, Georgetown and Southport.
Farther north, deliveries may continue through the Cape Fear River, Wrightsville Beach, Masonboro Inlet, Morehead City, Beaufort, the Neuse River, Pamlico Sound, the Alligator River and Albemarle Sound before reaching Coinjock, Great Bridge Lock, Norfolk and Hampton Roads.
