A northbound yacht delivery from Florida to New England may use offshore Atlantic passages, the Intracoastal Waterway (ICW), protected bays and sounds, or a combination of routes. Depending on the vessel and departure point, routing may begin in South Florida, Fort Pierce, St. Augustine or Jacksonville before continuing through Georgia, South Carolina and North Carolina toward Norfolk and Hampton Roads.
