New England to Florida Yacht Delivery Route
A yacht delivery from New England to Florida may begin in Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Rhode Island or Connecticut and continue south through a combination of coastal waters, offshore Atlantic passages and the Intracoastal Waterway. Depending on the starting point, routing may include Casco Bay, Massachusetts Bay, Cape Cod Canal, Vineyard Sound, Buzzards Bay, Rhode Island Sound, Block Island Sound and Long Island Sound before reaching New York Harbor.
From New York, the route may continue along the New Jersey coast through Sandy Hook, Manasquan, Barnegat, Atlantic City and Cape May before proceeding toward Delaware Bay, Chesapeake Bay, Norfolk and Hampton Roads. Farther south, deliveries may use offshore passages, the ICW, or both through North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia before continuing into Florida.
