Routes may continue through Buzzards Bay and the Cape Cod Canal to Cape Cod, Cape Cod Bay, Boston and the Massachusetts coast, then north to Portsmouth, Portland, Casco Bay, Penobscot Bay, Midcoast Maine and Downeast destinations.

Every New England yacht delivery is planned around the vessel, weather, tides, currents, fuel range and the safest practical route. Depending on the origin and destination, planning may include Long Island Sound, Block Island Sound, Buzzards Bay, Cape Cod Canal transit, Vineyard Sound, Nantucket Sound, Massachusetts Bay, offshore passages and protected coastal routes. Marina availability, fuel stops, daylight, sea conditions and seasonal weather are considered before departure and throughout the delivery. Deliveries may run northbound into New England or southbound from Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Connecticut toward New York, New Jersey, the Chesapeake and Florida, depending on the vessel, weather and owner’s destination.
